BerberRoads is an invitation-only, ultra-luxury private journey company operating exclusively in Morocco. Each journey is designed for a single private group of no more than eight guests and built entirely to order -- there is no public catalogue and no fixed departure schedule. The company's first season opens in the off-season of 2027, a deliberate choice: cooler light, quiet medinas, artisans with time to teach, and landscapes returned to their natural silence.
At the centre of every itinerary is Morocco's living craft. BerberRoads places guests beside working master artisans -- the ceramicists of Fes, the weavers of the High Atlas, the coppersmiths of Marrakech, the saffron growers of Taliouine -- in workshops that do not open to general tourism. Journeys move slowly and privately between exclusive Sahara camps, historically significant riad buyouts, and remote valleys reached, when the group wishes, by private helicopter.
BerberRoads operates across the whole of Morocco: the imperial cities of Fes and Marrakech; the High Atlas and Anti-Atlas mountains; the Sahara at Erg Chebbi; the Draa Valley and the oases of the deep south; and the saffron country of Taliouine. Journeys are conducted in English, French, Arabic, Japanese and Korean, for discerning travellers from Europe, the Gulf, Asia-Pacific and North America. Representative journeys include the private honeymoon, the multigenerational family journey, and nights at an exclusive Sahara luxury camp.
BerberRoads was founded by Anas Hachimy, a Moroccan hospitality entrepreneur who built the company around a single conviction: that the most meaningful way to know Morocco is not to be shown it, but to be quietly admitted to it. Rather than assemble another catalogue of departures, he set out to design journeys one group at a time -- each built from scratch, each limited to eight guests, each opening doors that remain closed to conventional tourism.
His work centres on the relationships behind the country's craft: the ateliers, cooperatives and family workshops where Morocco's ceramics, textiles, metalwork and saffron are still made by hand. These relationships, built patiently over years, are what allow BerberRoads guests to sit beside a master and work with their own hands rather than observe from a distance. Anas Hachimy leads the company's itinerary design personally and is available for interviews in English and French.

MARRAKECH, MOROCCO — BerberRoads, the invitation-only ultra-luxury private journey company founded by Anas Hachimy, today announced that its inaugural season will open in the off-season of 2027. In a market that concentrates on peak-season departures, the company has chosen the opposite: to build its first journeys around the cooler, quieter months when Morocco's medinas empty, its light softens, and its master artisans have the time to teach.
Every BerberRoads journey is designed for a single private group of no more than eight guests and built entirely to order. The company maintains no public catalogue and accepts no walk-in bookings; journeys depart by invitation or referral only. Itineraries move slowly and privately between exclusive Sahara camps, historically significant riad buyouts, and the workshops of working master craftspeople in Fes, Marrakech, the High Atlas and Taliouine.
"We do not sell departures — we build journeys, one group at a time," said Anas Hachimy, Founder of BerberRoads. "Choosing the off-season is not a discount strategy. It is how you meet Morocco at its most private and its most generous: the artisan who has an afternoon rather than ten minutes, the medina at dawn with no one else in it, the desert returned to silence."
The 2027 season will span the whole of Morocco, from the imperial cities to the Draa Valley and the Sahara at Erg Chebbi, with journeys conducted in English, French, Arabic, Japanese and Korean. Representative commissions include private honeymoons, multigenerational family journeys, milestone celebrations, and slow walking routes guided by Berber hosts.
